NKC Coffee Connect - Sertoma International & Hearing Aid Project
Join the North Kansas City Business Council for Coffee Connect with Sertoma International—an organization that has placed service at the heart of its mission since 1912.
Sertoma’s long-standing passion for giving back is woven into its very name: SERvice TO MAnkind. For more than 50 years, the organization has championed a national hearing health mission dedicated to helping the more than 50 million Americans living with hearing loss access the care, resources, and tools they need to fully participate and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Through initiatives such as the Hearing Aid Project, SAFEEars!, community and professional education grants, and scholarships for deaf and hard of hearing students, Sertoma is creating a meaningful impact across North America. Local Sertoma clubs extend that mission through hearing and speech clinics, screening programs, camps, scholarships, youth and veteran services, community improvement projects, and other programs tailored to the needs of their communities.
Come learn more about the people and programs behind this important work—and discover how volunteer service, local partnerships, and community leadership can create lasting change. You’ll also have time to build relationships with fellow business professionals and community leaders in a welcoming, conversational setting.
Sertoma International will provide coffee and pastries, along with door prizes for attendees. Coffee Connect is free to attend, and guests are always welcome. Bring a colleague and start your morning with new connections, fresh ideas, and an inspiring look at service in action.
