Business Council Monthly Luncheon

Speakers for this month's luncheon will be Greg Duncan and Shane Maxwell of Cates Auction & Realty Co.  The topic for tomorrow's presentation will be "Fast = Cheap and Other Myths About Auctions and Business." There are a handful of prevalent myths about auction that are often applied to business in general. Using stories of recent auction sellers and buyers we'll debunk the myths and spotlight the key realities for both the auction world and the business world.
 
Cates Auction & Realty Co. specializes in the sale of all types of real estate - commercial, land and residential. Their mission is to bring buyers and sellers together through accelerated auction marketing to achieve the highest value for assets in the shortest amount of time. The company was founded in 1942 by Dean Cates, grandfather of the present owner, Jeff Cates.  Next year the company will be celebrating its 70th anniversary!  They have been on Iron St. in NKC for the last 7 years.
