Rick Hughes CDME, was appointed as President & CEO of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association (KCCVA) in February 2003. Prior to the KCCVA Hughes served 11 years with the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, where he was Executive Vice President & COO. Hughes serves on a number of boards, including the Economic Development Corp., Downtown Council, and Global Commission in Kansas City. He was recently completed his term with the board and executive committee of the Destination Marketing Association International.
