Brian Gordon, Board Member | CEO Emeritus, MegaKC
Brian Gordon serves as Executive Chair of MegaKC, a 100% employee-owned construction company that has helped build and improve communities throughout the Kansas City region for more than three decades. Throughout his leadership career, Brian has guided the company through significant growth while maintaining a strong culture of employee ownership, trust, and community impact. His experience leading complex infrastructure, civil, water, and industrial projects gives him a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing the construction industry today.

With 30 years in the field, Coby brings extensive expertise as a civil engineering consultant and has served as project principal, manager, or engineer on a wide range of projects for both private and public sectors. Coby has also served as an On- Call Engineer for several public entities, contributing in various capacities. In addition to his day job, Coby serves as the Chair of the Kansas City, Missouri City Planning Commission and President of the Kansas City Industrial Council.

Joey Perell brings more than 25 years of experience leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Midwest. As Director of Plant for Garney’s Midwest region, he oversees all plant operations, including procurement, preconstruction, staffing, safety, and contract management. He ensures every project is delivered efficiently, safely, and with the quality and attention to detail that defines Garney’s work.Joey has led projects ranging from complex treatment facility upgrades to large-scale infrastructure improvements. Known for his proactive planning and strong coordination amongst partners, his diverse background in residential, commercial, industrial, and heavy civil construction gives him a broad perspective on project execution and team leadership.

As a principal at WSKF Architects, John leads design teams on a wide range of public and private projects, including municipal, recreational, commercial, and hospitality projects. John’s portfolio includes master planning of developments, new construction and renovation, and creative facility design to evoke national and local branding through exterior and interior elements. John’s experience includes working in architectural offices in Maine, Virginia, New Mexico and here in Kansas City with project locations across the country and beyond, working in the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and both Coasts as well as extensively in Kansas City. John is married and has three adult children he resides with his wife Rebecca Riden in Prairie Village.
