2022 February Monthly Membership Luncheon

Join us on the 4th Thursday of every month for lunch and networking with fellow NKCBC members, as well as other North Kansas City business owners and representatives, community leaders, and elected officials.  In addition to lunch and networking, you will enjoy a presentation by our featured speaker. 

The featured speaker this month is Jack Mitchell, owner of BesaMe Wellness, a licensed medical marijuana dispensary with their flagship dispensary located at 1041 Burlington in North Kansas City. They currently have 8 other locations open in Missouri with 4 more on the way.
 
Jack holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.  He has become an expert and a leader among fellow business owners in the Missouri medical marijuana industry and was influential in lobbying for Missouri’s “New Approach Amendment 2”.  Jack serves on the board of the Missouri Medical Cannabis Trade Association (MoCann Trade) and works closely with Botanic Business Services, a service business providing compliance, financial, technology and business consulting services in the marijuana, technology, and hemp industries.

Jack and his team were successful in becoming licensed, and funding, opening, and operating a 100,000 sq. ft. cultivation facility, multiple BeSame Wellness dispensaries and a manufacturing facility with a total capital deployment of $25 million.
