NKC School District Education Foundation 5K
Proceeds from the RUN NKC Schools 5K benefit
the Education Foundation and PTAs/Booster
Clubs at district schools. Five dollars will go to the
organization of the school designated on your
registration form.
Established in 1996, the North Kansas City
Schools Education Foundation is a nonprofit
organization that recognizes innovation and
excellence in education by funding teaching
grants and supporting scholarships. Through
your donations, employees and students are
able to participate in learning opportunities not
provided by tax dollars.

Football Stadium, which is located next to
North Kansas City High School. The flat
course will wind through Macken Park
and residential areas of North Kansas
City. Although the Police Department will
block off streets, please use caution and
watch for traffic during the 5K.
7:45-8:45 a.m.: Same-Day Registration/
Packet Pick-Up
8-11 a.m.: Pancake Breakfast
9 a.m.: Start of 5K
10 a.m.: Awards Ceremony
10:15 a.m.: Free Kids Run

activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume
all risks associated with my voluntary participation in this event, including, but not limited to,
heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the condition of the road or walkways, all such risks being
known or appreciated by me. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of you accepting
my entry, I for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and anyone else who might claim
on my behalf, covenant not to sue and WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE NKC Schools,
NKC Schools Education Foundation, race sponsors, race workers or volunteers, their
representatives, successors or assigns for ANY AND ALL claims of liability, whether
unforeseen, for death, personal injury or property damage arising out of, or in the course of
my participation in the event. The Education Foundation or NKC Schools reserves the right
to cancel the race in case of emergency.
