Get in the spirit by joining the Council and other area merchants for our 16th annual Christmas tree decorating contest. A NKC tradition since 1995\, the avenues of Armour & Swift will come alive with holiday magic as they are lined with a sparkling assortment of custom decorated\,one of a kind Christmas trees.\n\n\n\nThis year\, each tree will stand eight feet tall and be installed fully lit with 300 white lights. You are responsible for your business name on your tree\, and it will be part of the judging! If you would like the Business Council to put the name of your business on the tree it will cost and additional $20.00. The good news is if you purchase a tree before October 15th\, the cost is $150.00 each! After October 15th\, it is $200.\n\n\n\nThe trees will be in place by November 12th and they must be decorated by noon on Friday\, November 19th. The judging will take place that afternoon. There will be three decorating themes again this year\, "Traditional"\, "Business Related"\, and "Winter Wonderland".\n\n\n\nPrizes will include a $250 contribution on behalf of the "Best of Show" (1st place) to that business's favorite charity and two\, $100 charitable donations for the winners in each of the other decorating categories. In addition\, each winning company will receive a personalized commemorative plaque\, honoring their achievement. Awards will be presented at the Council's December 2\, 2010 Big Event.
