DESCRIPTION:The newly formed non-profit\, The Northtowne Arts Coalition (NAC) in cooperation with Sears Garage Door Solutions KC\, is hosting a 1-day fundraiser on Saturday May 11th from 10 am to 2 pm\, called "Part With Your Art Supplies."  For more information about the NAC\, please visit their website www.NAC-NKC.org\, where you can download a flyer about this event.   The fundraiser will be held at Sears Garage Door Solutions\, 953 Swift Avenue\, North Kansas City\, MO 64116   www.searsoverheaddoorkc.com.   \n\n	They are calling on all Artists\, Crafters\, and Collectors of Incredible Great Stuff to donate useable arts and crafts supplies for adults and children such as: paints\, brushes\, palates\, pens\, pencils\, markers\, pastel\, blank paper of all kinds\, canvases (including those that can be painted over) frames (but no loose glass please!) art & crafts books\, scissors\, glues\, tapes\, paper cutters\, easels\, fabric\, yarn\, greeting cards\, tissue\, glitter\, ribbon\, twine\, portfolios\, all jewelry making supplies and old jewelry\, greeting cards\, matboard\, mat cutters and everything else that another creative person might find a use for!\n\n	When you've gathered the treasures you want to pass on\, please contact Valerie Phillips at 816-305-0770 to arrange pick-up or drop off.  If you donate at least $10 worth of supplies\, you will receive a ticket to be an early bird shopper at the sale beginning at 9 am.  Please pass this news along to everyone you know who might want to lighten their stash\, shop for arts & craft supply bargains themselves\, and help a non-profit\, Northland Arts organization in the process.
