SUMMARY:Holiday Tree Decorating Contest
DESCRIPTION:LIGHTING UP THE HOLIDAYS.... Get in the spirit by joining the Council and other area merchants for our 12th annual Christmas tree decorating contest.  A NKC tradition since 1995\, the avenues of Armour & Swift will come alive with holiday magic as they are lined with a sparkling assortment of custom decorated\, one-of-a-kind Christmas trees. This year\, each tree will stand eight feet tall (twelve feet also available) and be installed fully lit with 300 white lights.  The name of the participating business will also be prominently displayed on each tree.  The good news is the price is the same as last year - $195. The trees will be in place by November 9th and they must be decorated by noon on Friday\, November 16th\, when judging will take place.  There will be three decorating themes again this year - "Traditional"\, "Business Related"\, and "Winter Wonderland". Prizes will include a $250 contribution on behalf of the "Best of Show" to that businesses favorite charity and three\, $100 charitable donations for the winners in each of the three decorating categories.  Awards will be presented at the Council's January luncheon.
