SUMMARY:ATK Employer Fair
DESCRIPTION:ATK Small Caliber Systems (SCS) will be reducing its staffing levels on October 1\, 2013 due to contract changes and operational needs.  One of ATK's planned activities will be to assist employees with identifying potential employment opportunities by hosting an employer fair at their facility on September 19\, 2013.  Check-in will be 12:00 pm (lunch included)\; Employer Fair will be 1:30   4:30 pm.\n\n \n\nEmployers with production\, distribution or salaried employment opportunities with wages of $13-14/hr and up are invited to participate in ATK's Employer Fair.  Space will limit the event to up to 20 qualifying employers.  \n\n \n\nATK SCS has extremely skilled and capable employees who have demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver outstanding results.  These employees have training and expertise in safety systems\, quality\, manufacturing practices\, team development\, metrics\, and leadership.  They understand\, measure\, and deliver results through team collaboration\, lean manufacturing\, problem-solving\, creativity\, safety and environmental disciplines.  Employees scheduled to be laid off have worked in the following functional areas:  Operations\, Warehouse\, Mission Assurance\, Programs\, Engineering\, and Project Management.  Additional company-specific training could be addressed using Full Employment Council's On-the-Job Training program.
